We had a pretty wild time with the youth playing water slide kickball. We have a great group of kids who love to get together. Thank you to everyone who helps with our youth!

What a great night for a pool party! The kids had a great time at the Back to School splash tonight. A big thank you to Bob Scillufo and Sheila Pollard Scillufo for running the concession stand and Fallon Scillufo for keeping the pool open and extra night for us.
Wanted to let everyone know that one of FBC Herrin's own, Pastor Jack Hall, will be celebrating 50 years of ministry with First Baptist Church of Shawneetown. The celebration will be on Sunday, August 11 from 12:30 to 3:30 pm . Here is a flyer for more info.
VBS is in full swing and it is AWESOME!!! (If anyone has pictures of roller coaster, please post them. I can't ride a roller coaster and take pictures at the same time.) There are still 3 more days of VBS left, so if you haven't brought your child yet, there is still time. 6:00-8:30 pm.

A rainbow, a pig, and some cheerleaders kind of stole the show, but we have a lot of fun playing softball Sunday evening. Thanks to everyone who came out to play and cheer. Lots of talent out there!
I didn't share this from last week, but I am very proud of our students for their work at the House of Hope. They served well on both Wednesday and Friday. This is Friday's group. Between the 2 days, I believe we had about 20 different students who helped.

Juggling Jeff put on a spectacular show for our Soccer celebration tonight! We all loved it! Thank you, Jeff, for coming. Thank you to everyone who has made this year of soccer awesome!
Soccer games are cancelled for today. Fields are in standing water and unplayable. Midseason celebration is tomorrow night at 5pm. Coaches need to arrive at 4:30pm and players at 4:45 in jerseys. Players must be present to receive a prize. See you then. 😁
Please join the Herrin faith community as we send off our high school graduates with a special service. We are very proud of our young people. In this day, we want our young people to know that churches and Christians support them. Let's show our support and offer our prayers for them together. Sunday, May 12 at 6:00 p.m.
This Sunday is our Midseason Celebration. This year's feature is Juggling Jeff, entertainer and speaker. Come out for a very fun night with lots of laughs while we celebrate another great soccer season. The event is free and fun for the whole family. Sunday at 5:00 p.m.
The youth will be playing ultimate frisbee Sunday evening after worship and Bible study at 6:00. Any adults who would like to defeat teenagers are welcome to come too.
